Academy donates Wyland's "Mobile Bay"
On display now in the Tensaw Theater
The United States Sports Academy has donated two very special items to 5 Rivers. The first item is “Mobile Bay,” a one-of-a-kind painting created by world renowned artist Wyland with school children from Mobile and Baldwin Counties. The second item is a limited edition print of “Ocean Paradise” by Wyland and Guy Harvey. Visit 5 Rivers to see the pieces on display.

21st Annual Alabama Coastal Cleanup, 8am-Noon

Grab your canoe or 'yak and come help us "get the trash out of the splash" by cleaning up Alabama's waterways. Don't have a canoe or kayak, don't worry! We have them for rent here at 5 Rivers Outfitters.

Turtle Derby on the Delta
Join the Shellebration! Adopt a rubber turtle for only $5, and race it down the pass for some great prizes. This promises to be a great family fun day, with free boat rides all day. Winners will be announced on 95KSJ, and all proceeds benefit Covenant Hospice patient and family services in Mobile.

2009 Outdoor Alabama Photography Contest

October 31 is the deadline for entry into this annual Outdoor Alabama Photography contest. Whether you're an amateur or full-blooded pro, everyone is welcome to enter. Take pictures of your favorite Alabama animal or plant, beautiful Alabama scenery or your favorite recreational activity. Winners will be published in the February 2009 Issue of Outdoor Alabama.
