Replay of Interactive Virtual Field Trip to Weeks Bay
In May 2009, the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources produced an interactive virtual field trip, allowing some 1500-2000 students from across the state, country, and globe to "come to" the Weeks Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve in Baldwin County. The students were able to learn about estuaries and the animals and habitats native to Alabama's coastal wetlands, and were also able to send in questions that were answered live on-air.
